The Million Dollar Challenge

What would you do with a million dollars?  Buy a second home?  Pay off the bills?  Treat your family to something special?  BCS YES! would build an endowment.

By building an endowment fund, BCS YES! ensures that future generations of homeless teens have a safe, nurturing environment that provides the support needed to meet the complex issues of teen homelessness, including psychological counseling, educational support, life-skills development and skills for independent living.

BCS YES! has received an extraordinary $1 million dollar gift.  This exceptional gift from two anonymous donors has created the BCS YES! Angel Fund.  The beauty of the Angel Fund lies in its permanency as a restricted fund and its growth potential as an income fund.  But there’s more to the story:

The Angel Fund donors have pledged an additional $1.5 million dollars as a matching gift incentive!  The $1.5 million dollar pledge stipulates that BCS YES! must raise $3 million dollars by the year 2010 in order to receive the additional $1.5 million dollars.  This means that for every two dollars you contribute, one dollar will be added.

The matching gift incentive is not a game or gimmick.  It is a somber reminder of the growing rate of homelessness among teens and the rising cost of providing residential care to dependent, neglected youth.  But we need your support:

Join the Angel Fund Matching Gift Campaign!

BCS YES! makes a huge difference in the lives of underprivileged displaced youth.  Our innovative approach to residential care achieves measurable results that transform lives and strengthen communities.   In “Living the Legacy” recent graduates of BCS YES! share first-hand the benefits they received while in our care.  “Living the Legacy” can be viewed from the website, or you may contact our office to obtain your free copy.
